Mon – Regular School Day – Students will be given the opportunity to see check out card during Home Room to see if any fees and fines are owed and if a yearbook has been purchased.
– Questions can be taken to the office at that time and mistakes cleared up. Students will also be able to clean out and have lockers checked off. Everything needs to be taken home.
Tues – All classes will be attended. There will be prize drawings and a school wide BBQ with the yearly Faculty vs Student Basketball Game and many activities going on that the Student
Council and Advisors have planned.
There will be NO BACKPACKS, PURSES, BAGS, ETC allowed on Tuesday.
School dismisses at 2:38 pm with buses running at that time.
Wed – Home Room will be first that morning. Students will be given check out card and then proceed to each class to check out. Last hour classes will be called down to the office to hand in checkout cards and those that have bought a yearbook will receive it at that time if all fees and fines have been taken care of.
NO BACKPACKS, PURSES, BAGS, ETC will be allowed on Wednesday.
Buses will be to HMS at 12:30 to pick up students. HHS Graduation starts at 4pm.
Thurs – No planned classes or activities. Teachers will be checking out the entire day.
Buses will return to HMS at 12:30 to pick up students, if any.
There will also be a basketball meeting for any 8th grade boy interested in participating in HHS basketball this summer and next year, Monday in the Lecture Hall, during Home Room.

Just an FYI – If there are any questions that should come up during the summer, please call the school at 635-4634, leave a detailed message, and your call will be returned. There should be someone in the office at least one evening a week during the summer to take care of business and return calls.
Also, if you have a student attending HMS next year, fees can be paid and schedules picked up starting Tuesday, August 2nd through the first day of school. Hours are 7:30am to 2:30pm daily and also the night of Tuesday, August 9th from 5:00-7:00pm and during Back to School Night. Fees will need to be paid, waivers approved, or arraignments made before a schedule can be picked up.
Back to School Night will be on Thursday, Aug 9th, from 6:30-8pm.
If you feel you would qualify for a fee waiver one of the following documents will need to be presented to verify qualification:
2017 Taxes – last three pay stubs of adults in home with a year to date – a letter of decision from SNAP(food stamps), Unemployment, Social Security or Foster Care.
FREE LUNCH DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY QUALIFY A STUDENT FOR A FEE WAIVER!
Free and Reduced Lunch must be reapplied for every year. Whatever status the student was on at the end of this year, will carry for maybe 14 days only. Applications are to be done online at washk12.org
