  KeviAnne Carter who participaed in the Mega Gymastics Meet in Las Vegas and came home with a 1st Place in the Floor Exercise and Balance Beam, a 2nd Place on the Vault and 4th Place on the Bars.  She won 1st Place overall in Level 8.
  the winners of the Chaparral Youth Poetry Contest in the grades 6-9th division – 1st Place Hailey Martin and 3rd Place Roxanne Sheley. In Honorable Mentions – 1st Place Kellason Walker, 2nd Place – Khloe Cagle and 3rd Place Krish Kotak.
   the HMS Choir and the HMS Band, who each earned a Superior Rating of 1 (which is the best possible) at the Southern Utah Performing Arts Festival.
  our Math Count Team which placed 9th overall at the State Math Count Competition and who were the only school south of Provo that placed in the top 12!  The team consisted of  
Ryan LisonbeeColin AndraKaden Robinson and Bailee Little.
The HHS Dance Company Auditions will be Wednesday and Thursday, March 21 and 22, at 6:00 am at the high school.  There is a flyer on the office bulletin board will more info. 
A new Driver’s Ed Class will begin on Thursday, March 22.  Contact the high school for more information.
The East Zion Strings Festival will be at HHS on Thursday, March 22, from 8:30am-1:30pm. Students that are participating will need to be to school, at HMS, on time.
On Thusday, March 22, from 7-8pm, there will be a Hurricane Cone-Site Public Meeting at HHS, in the Zion Lecture Hall. Attached is a notice that the Washington County School District has prepared. 
Friday, March 23, is the Creative Writing Workshop from 8:15am to 3:15pm, in Zion. Those participating need to be on time to catch the bus. 
HHS Cheer Tryouts will be Monday March 26 – Thursday March 29.  There are packets in the front office with more information.
