Harvey, Jaimee | Language Arts Honors, Theater, Speech Teacher
My Email: jaimee.harvey@washk12.orgMrs. Harvey attended Dixie College in St. George, Utah, where she earned her Associate of Science degree. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree from Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. Mrs. Harvey majored in Education at both schools with an emphasis on Speech Communication, Language Arts, and Theatre. She is currently working on her Masters of Education with Administration at Southern Utah University.
When Mrs. Harvey is not teaching, creating curriculum, grading papers, or doing her own university homework, she loves to read. She especially enjoys reading dystopian literature, fantasy, historical fiction, or the classics like Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, or Anne of Green Gables. She can never choose an absolute favorite book because she loves so many different ones. If she is not reading, she enjoys spending time with her family watching movies, hiking, or taking tiny road trips to visit family or national parks.
Like anyone, Mrs. Harvey has a bucket list of things she would like to do in her lifetime. Some of those include becoming a published author or traveling abroad (England, Italy, Australia, South Africa). She doesn’t typically dwell on her bucket list, since she mostly wants to be happy, and she wants her family to be happy.

In 2009, she and Mrs. Adams took 26 students from Hurricane Middle School to France and Italy with EF Tours. In 2010, she took another EF Tours trip to Costa Rica. These trips were life changing and extremely exciting opportunities. She would love to continue in tours and world travels with students in the future.

Sorenson, Jamison | Language Arts and Exploratory Arts D
My Email: jamison,sorenson@washk12.orgWadsworth, Reuben | Language Arts Teacher, Journalism
My Email: reuben.wadsworth@washk12.orgA native of Bountiful, Utah and a National Parks, Italy and history aficionado. Mr. Wadsworth is an Aggie through and through, having graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor's in Journalism. While there, he served first as a sports writer and then as assistant sports editor for the Utah Statesman.
Despite now being a teacher, he just couldn't leave journalism behind and still contributes to the St. George News. He also has a Master's degree in history from UNLV and moonlights as a history instructor at Dixie State University.
His favorite food is pizza napoletana and anything that includes dark chocolate. When not teaching or writing articles, he is spending time with his wife and three spunky daughters by enjoying the unparalleled scenery and outdoor recreation southern Utah has to offer, playing a game, or watching Studio C or a nostalgic movie from the 80s or 90s.
