Education: M. Ed. in Education and Art - Southern Utah University

About me: I have taught art at high school and college levels for four years and absolutely love it. My goal is to provide an engaging, and supportive environment where every student feels encouraged to be creative and develop new skills.

Outside of School: I love all things outdoors. You can find me hiking, biking, fishing, camping, hunting, snowboarding and spending time with my family. I love to bake and cook and spend a lot of time doing that.

About Me: I graduated from Utah Tech in 2026 and am beyond obsessed with music! I love creating a choir room where students feel welcome and have space to build their vocal confidence, explore different genres, and connect through making music together.

Outside of School: You can usually find me planning my next travel adventure, taking photos, catching a live concert or musical, or hiking!

Education — BS in Human Development from the University of Utah

About Me — Music was always a passionate hobby while I worked in the medical field and planned to become an occupational therapist; however, being a music teacher is what I am meant to be! I am fervent about music study for all adolescents, and find joy in helping youth find their resilience through instrumental music.

Outside of School — I spend lots of time with my family, going to concerts, watching Utes games, reading, and (of course) practicing the cello

About Me: I’m a Southern Idaho farm girl, with a passion for learning and teaching. I taught five years at Preston High School in Preston, Idaho, followed by two years in Pennsylvania before moving to Southern Utah. I have been at Hurricane Middle School since 2009.

Outside of School: I love spending time with my husband and 5 sons. I also love to read, spend time outside, and watch movies.
