Mr. Hardy grew up in La Verkin chasing lizards on the Hurricane Cliffs, swimming in the Virgin River and eating home grown peaches and apricots (among other things). He attended Hurricane Elementary then Hurricane High School where he achieved much in HHS sports. He served an LDS mission to Minnesota & Wisconsin and attended college at BYU Idaho, Dixie State and graduated from SUU. He married Debbie in 1980 and they have 8 children, 3 boys, 5 girls which includes twins (and now up to 6 grandchildren). He has been teaching Science since 1986 (now you can do the math) and loves the fascinating principles of science.
Favorite science equation is E=mc2 (that means Energy = milk chocolate squares, right?).
Favorite science motto is by Bill Nye “Science Rules!” because in many ways it really does.
Favorite science joke is “What is the most important sub-atomic particle?”
(The Proton because they are always POSITIVE, be positive like a Proton!)
Favorite quote is from scientist, statesman & inventor Benjamin Franklin, he said;
“If you would not be forgotten as soon as you are dead and rotten, write something worth the reading or do something worth the writing.”
