CC Minutes February 25, 2025

Shaun discussed with the Community Council members what the Council/School could do to be better:
- Chuck Gwilliam and Jeff Madsen both suggested talking more to the kids and learn from them what they think would improve the school.
- Nic Lauritzen talked about how, as a school, we could help the Hispanic community feel more welcome and ways to include them more in our Back to School nights and Parent/Teacher Conferences.
Mr. Jaggi explained:
- The School Improvement Plan, Staffing, and Budget.
- SLT money and TSSA money and where best it could go for the benefit of the school.
Community Council members took a tour to visit the At Risk classroom. This is the intervention room where Ms. V helps the kids that are failing classes. She goes over their grades and attendance with the students and their parents.
